Because of my inability to blog in a timely fashion, it's been a few months since Theodore was welcomed into the world. : ) I'm happy, though, to finally share some photos from when he was just seven days old. There's nothing quite like photographing a 10-day-old with her (first-time) parents. I LOVE doing lifestyle family shoots when babies are still tiny; the moments between parents and a newborn are so delightfully tender and joyful (even on such little sleep!). Lilly is a precious baby, and I loved her nursery full of adorable rabbits. : ) Enjoy a few of my favorites!
Sweet, darling Colette. She is the third child of our dear friends Natalie and Mike. I photographed their wedding over five years ago now (!!!!). We couldn't be happier for them! Here are a few snaps from her session at six days old.
Oliver was a wise little dude of 8 days old when I shot his newborn photos. His lips and chin combined had me smiling so big! I loved his charming nursery; his grandfather MADE his crib and I adored the eclectic mix of D.C. details. Enjoy this sweet face and his proud parents!
Three years after shooting Claire & Blake's wedding, I traveled to North Carolina to photograph their sweet baby girl at 9 days old. Claire and I have been friends for a long time, and it just makes me SO happy to see friends' families grow.
