I met Maria, Nick and their 13-month-old daughter Amelia on a sunny day last week in northern Virginia for a family session. Let me tell y'all... they were TROOPERS. Even though the sun was shining, it was windy and COLD! All of them handled the biting temps with grace, and we got some super sweet photos. I'm so grateful my friend Anna connected me with them. There's nothing quite like photographing a 10-day-old with her (first-time) parents. I LOVE doing lifestyle family shoots when babies are still tiny; the moments between parents and a newborn are so delightfully tender and joyful (even on such little sleep!). Lilly is a precious baby, and I loved her nursery full of adorable rabbits. : ) Enjoy a few of my favorites!
